We are thrilled to announce that as of this month, Paloma Press is fiscally sponsored by Independent Arts & Media (IAM). This will allow us to build capacity, expand our publishing operations, and launch new programs such as The Mana Creative Futures Project (Mana in Filipino means legacy; in Spanish, it means skill; among Polynesians, Melanesians, Maori, and CCGers, it means power), which will support, celebrate, mentor, and partner with culture makers in our area to help widen our understanding of what it means to reimagine all of our possibilities.
We believe our mission is strongly aligned with IAM’s mission of stewarding and empowering independent art and media projects that foster community and civic participation, and facilitate cultural engagement and free expression. For over 20 years, for more than 200 organizations and projects, IAM has been a partner in bringing powerful works to our wider community.
