Message from the University of Washington’s Center for Nature and Health:
We are deeply saddened by the dismantling of the National Nature Assessment 💔. Fortunately, its poetry companion, The Nature of Our Times, lives on. This project invited Americans from across the country to share their poetic reflections on the profound significance of nature. The online gallery features over 1,200 poems that speak to the immense value of nature—for our children and future generations, for our own and the planet’s well-being, and the resilience and survival of our communities.
