Dr. Phillip Levin will be delivering the opening plenary address at the Ecological Society of America‘s convening on August 10–15 for its 2025 Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Levin who directed the National Nature Assessment from the
White House Office of Science and Technology Policy will present and share The Nature of Our Times exhibition posters designed by Each+Every during the meeting.
The Nature of Our Times: Poems on America’s Lands, Waters, Wildlife, and Other Natural Wonders, edited by Luisa A. Igloria, Aileen Cassinetto, and David Hassler, is a companion to the first national assessment of U.S. lands, waters, and wildlife, forthcoming in September. It is a shared initiative bringing together the joint efforts of Paloma Press, Poets for Science, Wick Poetry Center at Kent State University, and United By Nature.
