Find inspiration in the natural world at this lively, hands-on poetry workshop with acclaimed poet Caroline Goodwin, former Poet Laureate of San Mateo County, drawing from the anthology, The Nature of Our Times. Explore ways to capture nature’s energy through writing prompts and shared creativity, just bring a pen, an open mind, and a willingness to experiment. This workshop is free for everyone to attend, and light refreshments will be served.

Southern California poets Elizabeth Kuelbs and Zosimo Quibilan, Jr. will be reading from The Nature of Our Times on June 24th at 6PM PDT at the Thousand Oaks Library. The reading will be followed by an open mic, plus special video appearances from inspiring East Coast poets Elizabeth Bradfield and Jason Gray.
